Last time I was Short Route was in 2010 and she had a filly on the ground. As far as I know now she is doing fine :).

Short Route was her best foal so far at the track, but she never came through our ranch. How was she last time you were around her? Short Call has had the same owners for a long time, so we've also had two full sisters to that mare come through here to be re-homed (Offroad Affair and Luvonroutesixtysix), and her three most recent foals were all born here - this one and his two big brothers.

I knew a mare out of her! Short Route.. she was sired by Mud Route.

She has a fused ankle i.e. an injury from the racetrack

@kesoaps Thank you, she really is a fun mare to work with. Even with all the spunkyness she showed here, I would not hesitate to jump on her bareback. Sometimes I think she just likes to show off how "wild" she is and remind me that it is a privilege to ride her lol.

@5LoveHorses5, He is a two year old kiger mustang. I just measured him recently and he is just a hair under 15 hands. My other mare Calista is 14.3, so they are pretty close in size. Being a stud colt makes him a little "heavier" than my mare, so it makes him look bigger.

She is a full kiger registered with both the SMKR and the KMA. Her sire was conceived in the wild and her dam was directly from the wild. There is a video of her sire on youtube. His name is Geronimo (aka Charro) he is a grullo stallion. I think the person's username is Cabachaloca. If you find Cabachaloca's page, there is another video called 'Kiger mustang slideshow.' The image that it shows for that video is Calista's grullo colt.
